David J. Penrose
He began his career in the Social Security field back in 1991 after graduating Magna Cum Laude from S.U.N.Y. Fredonia. He spent 15 years as a claims representative with SSA acquiring the knowledge and expertise necessary to be successful in helping his clients get approved for disability benefits. In 2006 he decided to leave his government job with SSA to start his own advocacy company. Through his years of experience on the inside of SSA and as a private representative, he has gained a thorough understanding of the Social Security laws. David knows what it takes to help individuals get approved. He believes in providing his clients with the professional and courteous service and has been successful in helping thousands of people obtain the Social Security benefits they deserve.
Peter Siracuse
He graduated from Edison Tech High School in 1985 and attended Monroe Community College while working as a manager in his family owned business. Peter switched careers in 1996 when he was hired by the Social Security Administration. While working for SSA he obtained an invaluable amount of experience and understanding of how the system works from the inside and what it takes to get a person approved for disability benefits. Peter has a passion for helping individuals navigate the complex and sometimes confusing Social Security disability and appeals process. As a private representative he is always willing to go that extra mile for his clients. Peter lives in Webster NY with his wife Denise and his two daughters Riley and Peyton.
Connie Barilla
She lives in Irondequoit NY with her husband Sam and three children Peter, Phillip, and Sophia. Connie grew up in Spencerport NY and graduated from Monroe Community College in 1988. She started her legal career with Binder and Binder law firm in Rochester NY developing Social Security cases and training new personnel on the disability determination process. Her experience also includes obtaining and reviewing medical records, building and maintaining client relationships, and assisting representatives with the development of cases for Initial Claims, Administrative Law Judge Hearings and Appeals Council reviews. Connie’s friendly personality and extensive knowledge are a valuable asset to Benefit Representatives of America Inc. and to the clients that they serve.
Maria J. Pezzulo
She had a long career working directly for the Social Security Administration from 1980 until her retirement in 1998. Maria started with SSA as an Administrative Secretary, advancing to a Service Representative and eventually to the position of Senior Claims Representative. As a veteran of the Social Security Administration she has a great deal of knowledge and a unique perspective obtained only by working on the inside of the agency. At Benefit Representatives of America Inc. Maria assists clients with the completion of numerous forms required by SSA and is available to answer questions, provide guidance and help with any Social Security disability matter.

Connie has been a Social Security legal assistant since 1995. She has a great deal of experience providing clients with assistance in obtaining disability benefits.
Maria is a lifelong Rochester resident who graduated from Nazareth Academy as a Business and an Italian Major. She lives in Greece NY and enjoys spending time with her family.
